Greatest Hits Collection Flavors
The Greatest Hits Collection:
The very first collection we offered for sale was for the holidays in 2020. It was a 9-piece box and the reception was so good we decided to keep going. Since then we've done somewhere around 150 different flavor combinations. We've liked them all. (The few ideas we tested that were meh never made it to a collection. Jackfruit, bavarian cream, peanut wasabi, sorry you never made the cut!) But some flavors have been particular stand outs and from our raves and yours we've assembled a 16-piece greatest hits collection. There are some notable omissions that I wish we could have included! (red hot peanut butter, bear lake raspberry shake (we're out of bear lake raspberries!), ube, almond creme, and orange cardamom come to mind...) So while there are some worthy bonbons missing, we wanted a balanced collection and this is what we came up with.
Four of the sixteen "greatest hits" flavors were in the very first box! Butter mint, rum raisin, blueberry cheesecake, and spumoni have been with us for a long time and for good reason.
For nostalgia sake, here's the 9 flavors from our first box!
9-piece holiday collection from 2020:

Whether you're a long-time customer or new to Unicorn Chocolates, thanks for all the support and love, it's been an awesome journey so far and we can't wait to keep making more flavors for you to enjoy!
The 2026 Greatest Hits Collection:
Raspberry Vanilla: A raspberry pâte de fruit paired with a vanilla creme. And yes, we would have made the Bear Lake Raspberry Shake flavor if we had more Bear Lake raspberries. But it felt wrong to do a raspberry shake without the actual bear lake raspberries, and this "deconstructed" raspberry milkshake flavor is awesome.

Fig Cream Cheese: A fig purée cooked into a cream cheese creme. Inspired by an ice cream we had in Prague about 8 years ago, this unique combination is always a surprise favorite for many.

Blueberry Cheesecake: A blueberry pâte de fruit paired with a cheesecake-flavored creme. We've done a handful of different cheesecake flavors but I think the blueberry is my favorite. As a kid I always got blueberry cheesecake ice cream whenever I had the chance and it's still one of my favorite flavor combos.

Chonky Monkey: Like the chunky monkey ice cream flavor but named chonky monkey because our 14 year-old marketing director sometimes makes important company decisions. A banana creme paired with a peanut gianduja filled with chopped roasted peanuts. Always a favorite.

Rum Raisin: One of our first flavors, the rum raisin never gets old. Inspired by a chocolate bar we had in Switzerland 15 years ago this is a brown sugar rum-flavored creme with a raisin in the middle. A few times I've heard a variation of: "I don't like raisins, but the rum raisin flavor is incredible." It really is awesome.

Butter Mint: Another one that's been with us since the beginning, this deceptively simple flavor has probably received the most raves of all our bonbons. Like the after dinner butter mints. Buttery, and a little minty. So good.

Mango Sticky Rice: Like the desert at your favorite Thai restaurant, this is a mango pâte de fruit paired with a rice cream with a little coconut. We've brought this one back a few times since we first introduced it in the 2023 holiday collection and it's always a favorite.

Mexican Hot Chocolate: This is a chocolate fudge made with an almond-based milk chocolate spiced with cinnamon and cayenne. Rich, decadent, and a little spicy.

Passion Fruit Coconut: An absolute favorite in our family, we've done this one many times before and will do it many times in the future. It's a tropical paradise. It's a passion fruit pâte de fruit with a coconut creme. It's perfect.

Lemon Bar: This is a more recent flavor that became an instant hit. It's a lemon pâte de fruit mixed into a creme paired with a shortbread cookie layer. Lemon bars have always been one of my favorite treats and this bonbon is a satisfying scratch for that itch.

Cherry Bakewell Tart: Inspired by the Great British Baking Show, this is a cherry pâte de fruit paired with an almond creme. Cherry and almond go so well together, it's very difficult to get all of these into the. boxes instead of into my mouth.

Blackberry Lemon Custard: A blackberry pâte de fruit paired with a lemon custard creme. We've only done this combination once before ('23 valentine) but I think it's my favorite pairing we've found for blackberry. I'm always a fan of lemon custard flavors and this one's an all-timer.

Maple Bar: The second of our "bar" flavors, the maple bar first made it's appearance a year ago and it quickly become a hit. A maple creme made with real maple syrup paired with a cookie butter gianduja. It tastes like the best maple bar you've ever had.

Key Lime Pie: We've done this once before. It was good, but a bit on the sour side. This remastered version has a lime pâte de fruit mixed into a custard-flavored creme paired with a graham cracker cookie layer. Much more like a real key lime pie. It's stunning.

Sourdough: This was one of the most raved about flavors in last year's Spring collection and we've brought it back for it's second appearance with the Greatest Hits. It's a sourdough flavored creme made with vegan butter milk paired with a white chocolate cashew gianduja filled with crunchy toasted sourdough bread crumbs.

Spumoni: Inspired by the Italian ice cream flavor, this is a maraschino cherry-flavored creme paired with a pistachio gianduja. This has been a favorite for years and always gets lots of comments. It's also the only flavor we do that has been with us from the beginning and retained it's original design! Although I think the execution is better these days. :)
